This morning I was ambitious. I was going to do a three hour hike at Crystal Cove. I woke up at 6AM and found myself driving along a most beautiful sunrise. But as you can probably tell with the past tense was it didn’t exactly happen as planned…
As I mentioned previously, I needed a break from the Atrium cardigan. Hello bulky, hello cables, hello small, hello mindless project. A headband is the perfect way to use up this yarn gifted to me by a friend from my knitting group. Nashua Sitar in Sunshine Spruce is the name of the yarn.
Calisson is the project and it knits up very quickly indeed.
And less than 24 hours later I used it all up, along with some other bulky scrap yarn. I had enough to start another, which I did, but now I must wait for more scrap yarn to finish a second headband. It is such an nice feeling to take a break with chunky cables and size 10 needles.
