Thanksgiving 2016

th01Today started off in the air. Back to California.

th06A lobster instead of a turkey was eaten today.

th04I blocked my gauge swatch. The pattern asks for 18 sts and 28 rows = 4″. I had 30 sts = 6.25″ and 53 rows = 6″. Close enough for me. Time to cast on the actual cardigan now!

th03I worked on my remaining Armor Lux fabric. The pattern is a copy of a tank top I love, but the back neckline has too much ease and I need to take it out.

th02I came close to finishing my hat. But I was still was not in a weaving in mood. It will be finished eventually.

th05Since my gym was closed today for Thanksgiving I went on a sunset bike ride instead.

th07And, strangely enough, this bird landed on my parent’s home in Texas. I haven’t yet figured it out what it is, but my mom was incredibly happy that it appeared today of all days. I have a feeling it picked us out because neither of us cooked a turkey this year for Thanksgiving. Until I identify it, my mom is calling it a phoenix.
