I finished my sockhead hat. Well, except for weaving in the ends. Which I will do… later. I also plan on making a giant pom pom so I don’t have leave any leftover yarn in my stash.
I might have to work at 5AM but if I start sewing… I can’t stop the sprees. Even if they go into 1AM. I’m almost done with the Sewaholic Fraser Sweatshirt actually turned t-shirt and Simplicity 1072 skirt. I just need fix the wonky sleeve hem.
With the near end of the sockhead hat, I’ve begun preparing for my next knitting project with this Polwarth/Alpaca/Possum yarn from New Zealand Fabrics and Yarn.
It will be used for the Atrium Cardigan by Melissa Wehrle from her book Metropolitan Knits. I haven’t starting any swatching or knitting, only reading through the pattern to get an idea of what I’m about to get myself into. But this knitting project will be perfect for California since it rarely gets cold enough for a thick sweater.
